New Era - Environment

The Page Center campus includes 56 acres of woodlands with 810 ft of lakeshore on Little Lake in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. This combination of water, land, woods, water, sounds, smells and silence is a renewing place.

Stewardship of the Page Center includes nurturing, nourishing and respecting this ecosystem.

Woodland/Forest . . . . Lakeshore woods of oak and red pine sprinkled with birch, balsam and cedar; great scents and naturally occurring bird life.

Kettle Lake. . . Sand bottom lake formed by a retreating glacier.

Bog Walk . . .
Surrounding the Kettle Lake is a pristine bog with carnivorous plants including Sundew, Pitchplant and classic Sphagnum moss and bog life.

Nature Trails . . . Quiet scenic places to walk and enjoy the dune ecology of the Upper Peninsula.
