Every act of change has a stimulus. The late Bishop Jim Kelsey of the Northern Michigan Episcopal Diocese envisioned change and growth in the Page Center. Through his leadership conversations began. Through his inspiration a new community began to grow. Through his trust and conviction the Page Center now serves a broader community as a nonprofit corporation.

Bishop Jim Kelsey
“Life is not measured by the breaths you take,
but by the moments that take your breath away.”
For Jim Kelsey, the Page Center was a place where you would experience such moments . . .
“The Page Center is about offering a place for individuals and groups who would normally be apart to be gathered and to encounter one another, themselves and their God in an environment which nurtures understanding and mutual respect, cooperation, collaboration and love. I hope people feel that the space is “theirs” while they are there. That they are not so much guests or clients, but that they are at home.”
